So my folks are in Auburn, so when I came to town this past weekend I had a passing fancy for a bottle of wine and remembered this place. I hadn't been in some time, but had fond memories of the winery and the people from years past. I called the location and asked what their hours were for the day. The owner (Tim) picks up and tells me they don't have any hours on Sunday, but he and his crew were out at the winery doing some late season work, so if i wanted to come by to stop on by. With this amazing gesture extended,  i made a quick route to his location and pulled up the driveway. When I arrived Mr. Tim was outside in front of his store with a smile and a handshake. I spoke with and was greeted by everyone there on hand for the days harvest and had a few laughs before walking into the store. Mr Tim found my 2 favorite wines (All of his wines are awesome but the Semi Sweet and Strawberry are something unworldly!), offered up some of his home made cane syrup, and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. Outside of him opening up his business on a Sunday, and allowing me to interrupt his harvest, he also was more then happy to allow me to pick a few muscadines for the road and even came with me to help with the hunt and offer some lively conversation. I will continue to return to Whipporwill for the rest of my life. If more companies had owners like Tim then we would have on hell of a market here in our humble state I highly recommend this vineyard if you're in or around Notasulga,  AL. This place is a short ride from Auburn, so please stop through during your visit for football season!  Staff is awesome, the wine is very unique and the taste will bring you back. Prices dont get any better for the quality of product. Thanks again guys for an amazing visit.
