What an awesome experience! Our child celebrated their birthday playing Laser Tag with 9 of their friends at WhirlyBall Maple Grove. Wes got us situated in our party room, and Rob helped us with our pizza and drink orders. Both were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Another crew member explained the rules and helped to coordinate the games in the Laser Tag arena, which was very spacious, clean, and had tons of fun dimensions added to it walls, corners, windows, etc. The party room was clean and well-maintained, overlooking the WhirlyBall court, which was really fun to watch. There were NO hidden fees – the coordinators were communicative and transparent about how much it cost, what it included, and what to expect, which I very much appreciated. The entire staff were exceptionally professional, pleasant, attentive, and helpful in every way possible. This was a super great way to celebrate a teen’s special day!
We had part of a bachelor party here and this was such a fun idea! The game was incredibly fun and unique. It was tricky for the first game or two to get the hang of it, but once we did, it was a blast. The equipment felt a little outdated; some of the cars would struggle to kick in and you'd have to bump it to get it going again, and the sensors on the boards to score were pretty touchy; you really had to nail that shot to score. But all in all, it provided a fun challenge and a great way to spend an afternoon together. There was plenty of other stuff to do that we didn't, like an escape room. The facilities were nice and clean, the staff were helpful and very friendly, and the atmosphere was great.
Made reservations for a group of 10 birthday WhirlyBall & Laser tag! Received prompt email communications up through the day of. Our court was ready when we walked in. Staff, drinks, and games were great! Perfect fit for our competitive group! We will be back!Service: 5/5
Had a company get together today. The food was Delicious and Eric was a Great Bartender and Host to us. Had a Fun time!
Fun place for our family to play laser tag, pool and darts. We usually order drinks and pizza. The place can be really busy or really dead - plan to be flexible going in. These pictures are a few years old so some of the arcade games may have changed.
My boyfriend received a gift card for this place for a Christmas present this year. We've never been here before and decided to bowl. There was a problem with getting change back for a cash payment, which I thought was odd, and we needed to unexpectedly come up with exact cash to pay our leftover shoe money. Otherwise, it was a nice small lane set up with good choices for a more specialized experience.
Fun place to bring kids to play laser tag. $5 a person was reasonable. It was clean. The bartender recommended tasty cocktails, today's food special was steak tacos. If we hadn't already eaten we would have tried them they looked pretty good. I think we will be back.
Food okay, whiry ball was fun
I came here with my team from work and spent 3 hours playing Whirlyball. It was my first time playing and I had a blast. My group must've been around 30-40 people and being in a larger size group definitely made it even more fun. Each group of 10 got to play for 9 minutes. The food was good too, and items were replenished quickly. The pizza was probably my favorite thing to eat. There are also some arcades, dartboards, and billiards tables. So you can stay busy waiting for your next turn to play.
Did the escape room. Great place to let your ADHD kick on with a few other people and have great DMs. I do wish they had some kind of points system though so you can see how well you did compared to others
