We were seated right away, the gentleman was very polite. Food was good, the server was very friendly when she came to our table. I only had 2 issues the first was that our appetizer, salads and meal all came within 2 minutes of each other so either our appetizer had to sit or our meal and the second issue was while I server was friendly she was too busy talking and hanging out to read the cues that we were ready to order and pay.

The reviews on Whiskey Road are spot on. The food is mostly good. The atmosphere is nice and the staff is great. I started with a cup of homemade chicken noodle soup. It was chock full of chunks of tender chicken and fresh herbs. It was very good. The menu has so many items that sound very tasty, I chose the biggie fried pork tenderloin. It was huge, too big for one person. The pork tenderloin was very good, but I do agree with a previous review that the bun is lacking and clearly not fresh, as if it had been under a warmer too long. Overall, a very nice place. I would visit again.

In the end, the food was pretty tasty, serving size was generous and prices were fair. The wait time was a bit longer than I would have expected and the waitstaff could have been a tad more attentive to beverage refills and general helpfulness. It's not a white-linen-table cloth place, for sure, but for basic American food - it's pretty good.

Went there for Veterans day with a bunch of fellow vets. Good food on the free menu. Unfortunately the next year they didn't have the veteran meal deal. But they did give us everything on the menu 50% off.

Good was fresh, atmosphere was fun and service was great! Loved the ambience. Nice crowd.
