Always look forward to this place when we have the chance. Not where I’m from in Texas so it was nice to get to visit one here. The staff was super nice and helpful. Our food was prepared quick and in a timely manner. It was all hot and tasted great. My kids ate it up and hopefully we get to stop by again before we go home to Texas. This location rep the Company well. Parking: Plenty of free parking at this location Kid-friendliness: My kids loved the chicken rings. Nice addition to the menu Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessible
It's been a hot minute since I've been to a White Castle. I was showing a European friend their first experience of Chicago land stuff. The building and the cleanliness within was very symbolic of the neighborhood and area it stands in. I was very impressed by the food it was really good. I was exceptionally impressed by the manager who went into the history of White Castle for my friend and spoke about the family and all of the history around it which I thought was so cool! So great experience.
The food is really not amazing. Doesn't taste freshly made. I get it all comes from a frozen box but it just has that "I've been sitting out taste". The last visit we had there was horrible not due to the employees. It was due to the fact that my child was eating a chicken ring and immediately started screaming and spit it out. I walked over and retrieved what he spit out and it was gross. It looks like plastic or silicone but feels like rubber. It's not little either it's quite large. I obviously called to inform management that they clearly got delivered a bad batch. He then told me that this happens all the time. That it's more than likely a bone and I swear it is not and if it is even more gross
Well, I love me some WC. The burger recipe has not changed. Was satisfied with my food. In fact, I tried the sloppy Joe sliders. They were very tasty! Delicious! The double cheese burgers were delicious! Even the fries were good! However, I ordered a shake and got ice cream. They claimed that that's the way their shakes are. Then that's not a shake! No sir! Please exchange this for a coke, I said. He obliged without any hassle. Thank you for that. All in all, the brand WC is still as authentic as before, with updated costs, and added items on the menu. Great customer service! Always delicious!
They brought back the shrimp nibblers which I love, and they also had clam strips! I couldn't believe it! I love the seafood from White Castle, truly amazing. Recommended dishesMozzarella Sticks, Cheeseburger Sliders, Fish
I inquired about the $0.99 3 cheese ring offer, but didn't receive it. During my wait, I was asked about paying for my food by some other employee, so there's obviously a communication problem amongst the employees. I was a bit worried because I never received a receipt. The food that I received was good & the order was accurate. I'm going to return though. I think the issue might have been haste, due to shift change.
My fiancé and I went here for the first time to grab breakfast for us and his coworkers. Not a good neighborhood for one and the service was awful. We were waiting 20 minutes for our food so we decided to go in and see what was taking so long. The employees were so busy GOOFING around our food was just sitting there. The food was definitely not worth it. Will never return to that location.
White Castle is what it is. I love it but can’t eat it a lot!!!! Lol. It’s a good quick fast good slider. They do have plenty of options to eat. Service was quick and the order was Correct and good.Food: 3/5
Worst White Castle ever. Only 2 cars in front of us in the drive through and took 20 minutes before we even made our payment. When it was finally our turn to pay, they didn’t even have the right order written down so they needed to take our order again. We stood outside the window for another 5 min before we got our food.Service: 1/5
This was the first time in my life eating anything at a White Castle Diner! We had an Original Slider and a Jalapeño Slider......YUMMY!! The diner was clean and the 2 gals working were exceptionally friendly and helpful! The bathroom was very clean and there was ample parking.
