Great venue. Good sound. Ticket staff and bartenders were all super-nice. Security was over-the-top terrible. It took a few minutes to just get through the door. When I finally got there, I was patted down--THOROUGHLY--and for someone who doesn't like to be touched, this was a truly awful experience. Whatever happened to a glance at the old drivers license and hand-stamp routine.. like everyone else in NYC does? This felt completely excessive. PS this was for GARY NUMAN. Like everyone who went is 50 years old and has arthritis. What's going to happen?

By far this is one of the best music/theater venues in the metro region. Sound is clear, cool lighting, great historic decor with nice detail, very clean, every spot in the room has a perfect view of stage, and the staff is super friendly. I’ve been there for a few shows, and keeps getting better and better. Keep up the great work guys and thanks for doing this on this side of the hudson!!

By far the best concert venue I've ever been to. I'm already looking at every upcoming show just so that I can go back. It starts at entry - the ID checker, security, and coat check staff are the friendliest I've encountered at any concert venue. They do their jobs well - I got a full pat down and coat search, but they somehow make it a pleasant experience. Very friendly and pleasant to have a quick conversation with - as opposed to a lot of security at other places that grunt and look at you like you're just an annoyance. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful. Their restoration work and the character of the building itself is stunning. It's a pretty intimate venue, really the perfect size. The bars are easily accessible, service was quick and friendly, and the prices were surprisingly fair for a concert venue. They've got a decent selection of beers and drinks, as well as some food (real food, not just chips and snacks). I went with a few Yuengling beers and followed up with a hot apple cider with whiskey. I didn't get any food this time. The sound quality is perfect here - no echo that I could notice, very clear and very high quality in general. It's all GA, so no seating, but it never got too packed. If you aren't a fan of being stuffed in a crowd (which we never were despite being right by the stage), they have an upstairs balcony that's usually a lot less crowded and still provides excellent views. On top of it all, Ripe and their openers put on a great show. Like I said, I can't wait to find another excuse to come to White Eagle Hall and I couldn't be happier that I live so close to this place. A+++.

Super nice venue, parkings a little rough take mass trans. Venue is super clean, brand new and the sound system is amazing! Definitely a must visit if your from NJ or visiting. Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen in a music venue of this type, definitely shows pride of ownership. And plenty of awesome bars you'll never have to wait too long.

Nice mid size venue. Small but solid menu with drinks and food. They are slow to get people into the venue since security is a little intense, especially considering the fairly take acts they have been booking. During the exit it was more of the same, serious bottle necks getting out afterwards. Other than that great sound and good intimate stage.
