Good place for breakfast. Inexpensive and decent, except coffee was very weak. All in all we enjoyed our food.

The food was good. I ordered a burger and fries, so nothing fancy. The server.. quite a different story. For 3 customers,  we had 1 full glass of water and 2 glasses that were less than half full and all 3 were warm.I was told about life events from a server I didn't know. It took approximately 5 minutes to write down 3 orders. All were burgers. I ordered coffee and was never offered a refill. I believe they deserve a second chance with a different server.

Food was really good and reasonably priced! Dining area was very clean and service was good too. New to the area and my first time here, I will definitely be back.

So this place doesn't look like much at first glance but I have to say that the staff was friendly and attentive, my coffee was never empty. Food was very good, had the pancake special and was served up fairly quickly. I recommend this place and if I'm out this way again I will be stopping by.

Had the pork and rice soup for lunch, it was excellent.

We were in Devils Lake for a conference and wanted something local. White House Cafe came up in our Google Search and we decided to give it a try. It was AWESOME! First off, its a very soothing atmosphere and very "small town North Dakota cafe." We were greeted promptly by our waitress who was really nice and made several stops at our table.The food is all homemade and very cheaply priced. I had a water, an order of cheeseballs, chicken strips and fries for about $10.  When we checked out, the gentleman in charge asked us where we from as he did not recognize us from the area. He was genuinely interested in what were doing in Devils Lake and how we liked the cafe. He walked us to the door, chatting with us the whole time.  Overall, it was a great experience with great food at great prices. I will definitely be going back the next time I am in Devils Lake!

We used White House Cafe to cater our wedding.  They responded quickly to our questions and needs during the planning phase.  The staff was amazing and very attentive during the meal. The food was outstanding!  I would definitely recommend them to cater any event!

I've been eating there since I was a child. Their prices and plates are the best
