Doing my level best to avoid the Green Siren people, I was able to get to White Rock this morning at 6:15 where I had no problem parking the Sprinter van and no problem finding a seat. Note that they do have an upstairs area but it gets rather warm there. Two great cups of coffee that lasted me for four hours through my "morning office" as I sent a few emails, sat through a Zoom conference call and did some work. It's not exactly a quiet spot but if you want that, try the library. This was good enough and I enjoyed it enough for five stars. Wifi and power outlets throughout. Rest room is clean. Vegetarian options: Alternative dairy for coffee, not sure about the baked goods. Dietary restrictions: Ask about allergens. Parking: They have a dedicated parking lot. My Sprinter van fit fine. Kid-friendliness: Yes, they have small treats to load up your kids on sugar! Wheelchair accessibility: The downstairs is wheelchair accessible.
I have always been curious about this establishment and even more curious to how they compare to Starbucks, which Is steps away from them. I have yet to make it inside the establishment to really experience it, but the few times I have gone thru the drive-thru, I can say their customer service is top tier. You can genuinely sense their service and patience when one doesn't know what to order. They have a great variety of selections when it comes to drinks, pastries, and breakfast. At my every visit, I chose the "breakfast strata." it has to be the most tasting sausage, egg, and cheese I've yet to taste. The croissant is nice and fluffy, where at other places, the croissant seems hard and overly crisp. Cinnamon roll is good cold, so I can only imagine when warmed. When trying the "Blended Sopapilla Latte," it was delicious! It's not too sweet and not too bland, which is perfect for me. I will surely continue to come here. Maybe next time I walk inside the establishment. Thank you, White Rock Cafe!
I’m a usual at White Rock Coffee. Their spring menu is here! Tried the new Bluebonnet Latte: a double shot of our signature espresso, milk, lavender syrup and blue spirulina. Available hot, iced, or blended. Loved it!Food: 4/5
We absolutely love White Rock Coffee. Amazing coffee and customer service. We don't live near, but when in the area, we make it a point to stop by. Twice within the last 2 weeks, we've stopped by and were upset by the default $3 tip you're tricking people into. It happened 2 weeks ago, and we thought it just might've been a fluke. Then it happened again yesterday to me, automatically defaulting to $3 tip unless purposefully changed. That seems shady, if I'm being transparent, because you know in the morning people are in a rush and might not realize. I might advise the discontinuation of this tipping tactic.
This coffee place is way cooler and much better variety of coffee, pastries, and tea than the competitor which obviously put himself at the end of the street. I am definitely coming back to this business to have more hot tea and coffee and perhaps pastries too. Parking: Parking is limited next to the business yet behind it and a little further back there is even more parking.
We really like this location, the drinks, the atmosphere. Coming in for a drink and to get some work done is a regular treat. the only negative is the parking really really sucks. My daughter loves the frozen hot chocolate and frozen vanilla bean shake!Food: 4/5
One of the best coffee shops in the north Dallas neighborhood. The ambience is beautiful, staff is very friendly and recommends the better options. I tasted the holiday drinks before buying. You can spend hours in the cafe working on your laptop or reading books.Recommended dishesEnglish Toffee, Croissant
I used to adore this coffee shop, as the staff were consistently friendly and attentive, always putting effort into my orders. I've been a frequent customer since their opening. However, recently, they've consistently gotten my order wrong I order the same exact thing every time —over 20 times! Despite my efforts to maintain a positive attitude, the staff's demeanor has shifted, with a noticeable lack of warmth and cheerfulness. This shop used to be my refuge on tough days, but now it only adds to my frustration. Sadly, I'll have to explore other options for a while, hoping to return to a more attentive and cheerful atmosphere in the future. I miss the joy this place once brought me, and it saddens me to part ways for now.
Fantastic coffee, wonderful people, relaxed atmosphere, lots of space! I had an espresso shot and a rice krispie treat, and I bought a couple of bags of honey process coffee beans to take home with me. The coffee is SO aromatic, and the espresso is perfectly strong! Just what I needed. It's my first time here, but I'll definitely be back when I'm in town next time!
This place is really cool. We enjoyed every minute we were there. From the time we walked in and we're warmly welcomed, helped though selection some great coffees, and enjoyed the very cool environment we enjoyed every aspect. The guy who took our order was super nice and very patient with all our questions. Highly recommend this place.
