The Librarians here are the best; nice, friendly and helpful.
Whitefish Community Library is a spacious, beautiful building. There is plenty of room to read in a relaxing setting or get online at one of the computer stations. The library hosts many activities for people of all ages.
Once again Whitefish provides just what you need.

Boy, I sure don't have the same experiences at the Whitefish Library as those other reviewers. All the staff I have had contact with have been very helpful and friendly. 
It's a charming little library. I enjoy the recycled magazine rack and the books for sale. They have a very well curated selection of children's books. So many excellent titles.

We are so fortunate to have this beautiful little gem of a library in Whitefish with its cozy reading nooks, helpful staff,  public internet, and convenient location. Thru its partner libraries there is almost no traditional or electronic pub that we have not been able to borrow. And if the town did not have access to the community room, where would community groups hold evening meetings at no charge?

I would tend to agree with the other review.  Over the course of visiting this library numerous times it is hard to understand why they feel the need to be rude to the public.  The ImagineIF libraries in the Flathead are so much friendlier to their  patrons and to the community.  This is a community library, they should act as if they are actually here to help the community.  Unfortunately it is the only library in Whitefish and it is conveniently close to home.
