There are places in this world that remind you of your childhood and Lord help me this place is one. I really wish the food was as good as it used to be. I always get a cold bun. I don't see how you can consistently have both frozen and toasted but they somehow make it happen. Stop fiddling with the menu and go back to 1980s service and quality. I'm still gonna stop by every time I go through Lauren's but would love to see this place get back to it's former glory.

They do make a giant burger that is just the right amount of sloppy and juicy. I'm not usually a big fan of anyone's fries, because most places are just too danged greasy,, but every time I have tried Whiteford's, they've been alright - crispy on the outside and not all icky mush on the inside. But I think my favorite thing here has been the surprisingly good fried chicken they have. I think it's time for a little make-over at this location though. When you go to the Whiteford's in Clinton, there is no comparison.
