Whitney Library is a branch of the Las Vegas-Clark County Library District.

Story

The library offers friendly staff and free resources including weekly storytimes for children, public computers for children and adults, wireless Internet access, a monthly book club, a private study room, a separate teen area, and ongoing ESL classes. The library also has a 520-square-foot conference room available for rental, a used bookstore and an art gallery with regularly changing exhibits. The collection includes books, CDs and DVDs in a variety of formats and foreign languages, as well as knowledgeable reference staff. Whitney Library strives to be this community’s access to information, enlightening programs, homework help materials and a gathering place with a warm welcome for all.

It's a really good Library. It have a Teen Room for the teens which is amazing because they have really comfortable chairs and it's quite and full of books that teens might like. Also the whole place is very organized and clean, and the staff and security guards are very nice. Everyone welcome you with a smile and it's just so great.

I visit this library at least twice a week. They are clean, quiet, organized, and pleasantly helpful. They have free Wi-Fi and they have computers with privacy screens for use with your library card. Library cards are free and easy to obtain. They also have a nice art gallery, and laptops available on a first come basis for use at the library. They have various publications available for free relative to local events, restaurants, and learning programs. It's a win win situation. It's a place worth your time.

If you have to walk through metal detectors to get into a library...
Also, why do people INSIST on going into an area that's marked as a "quiet zone" to have a conversation? 
You get the gist of this library.

I love to study here!, this is a great oasis of learning and peace,  staff are awsome, place is neate and clean! Only thing better would be a Coffee shop inside, lol!
