Made my first visit to a Whole Foods and came away very impressed. The selection was great, particularly in regards to specialty items, such as vegan alternatives. Though the chain is often criticized for high prices, many specialty items can be found at Whole Foods for less than they would be at smaller, niche retailers. Staff are helpful and greet you with a smile, happy to answer any questions. Highly recommend Whole Foods to anyone looking for specialty items or high-quality products.

Not happy with their produce. Small selection and have to hunt for the freshest in the stack. Sandwiches and salad bar are good along with bakery and cheese selection.

I would give them a 5+, but the cashiers are mean or too by the books. They adamantly tell me no and refuse to give me a discount when I ask. Wth! I teach for Detroit Public Schools, I need a discount!!! Lolololol

I went there to buy Daily Digestive digestive enzymes. I purchase these about every six weeks. I was dismayed to find that the price had increased from $6.99 to $9.99. I think that is ridiculous! I will definitely switch to another brand and/or buy these elsewhere. The Theanine Serene also went up from $12.49 to $16.49. Again, I can get these online or elsewhere for less. I like Wholefoods, but they are becoming too expensive for me to shop at anymore on a regular basis. On the plus side, I did get some plant protein samples😏.

I love WholeFoods in general. I have shopped at WholeFoods in different cities and hands down this location's hot bar is the Worst. I mean at 9.99per lb they could at least afford to replace crusty rice, and burnt looking food. After being disappointed constantly with their hotbar selection, I just get something from the frozen meals instead.
