In 2005 my builder installed a Therma Tru Door system Door, side-lites and transom in our new home. It came with a LIFETIME WARRANTY.  In late 2019 we noticed the glasses in the door one sidelight and the transom had begun to fail. I contacted Therma Tru, who immediately told me I had to call the dealer, Bender Lumber Company. Bender Lumber determined, through a third party wholesaler, the door, sidelight and transom had in fact failed. Bender Lumber and Wholesale Building Materials were told by by Therma Tru they no longer make the products in my home. Bender Lumber offered a $1,600.00 settlement for what was a $4,000.00 + Door system back in 2005. When I rejected Bender Lumbers offer, the President of Bender Lumber, B** W******, said the door was painted incorrectly so the warranty was no good the door was stained, When I complained on Facebook, I was finally contacted by Therma Tru who confirmed they no longer make the door system in question and I had the option of picking from 3 door systems they chose or taking a check for $3,000.00. Therma Tru's LIFETIME WARRANTY IS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT IS WRITTEN ON. I have filed a consumer complaint with my State Attorney General, who will like call this a civil matter. I will then head to the local Circuit Court with a BREACH OF CONTRACT Lawsuit. It will cost $6,000.00 - $8,000.00 to replace the door system in my home. Therma Tru is a poor company making poor products.

We have had several dealings directly with WBM.  They are always fair, friendly, attentive, and prompt.
