WHY USA Preferred Properties recently has been passed down to a second generation family owners. Mario and Pam Cosma have owned the local company since 1991. In 2008 they have sold the company to their son and daughter in law, Dino and Noelle Cosma. They bring to WHY USA new innovative ideas and along with the family owned appeal, it allows them to expand in new directions.

WHY USA Preferred Properties has been in the Santa Maria area since 1991. The local office was formed with local experienced Realtors who loved what its name stood for; "We Hear You America", the Acronym forming its name of WHY USA and the slogan of the franchise "The Better Way".

The WHY USA concept began in the 1980's when its founder from Arizona felt there had to be a "Better Way" to show and sell real estate. The franchise quickly spread nation wide.
