Certified professional counselors provide professional assistance with routings, current information on points of interest, events and road conditions in the state. Also provided are free maps and a variety of free statewide and local travel literature.
Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. CT seven days a week - 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Closed only on Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving Day, the day before Christmas, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

It wasn't welcoming, it felt cold. Not child friendly either.  Maybe a more cheerful group of people. I was gone 21 days so looking forward to coming home. Depressing..! Arkansaw  welcoming center had me smiling talking to the lovely women working that day. It was spiritually up lefting. Home state...should have been better. I'd love to work there.

Great place to stop. Lots of great pamphlets for the state. Restrooms are clean. Always greeted when entering.

It's an amazingly well-kept and immaculate travel info center with pristine restrooms. The staff is well-informed and helpful. Stop in just to get off the road for a few minutes.

Clean and friendly staff. There is a bunch of information on attractions and shops to see throughout Texas.

A little off the highway and hard to find. It's also a smaller and older building in a reputable part of town. I stopped in early in the morning and the friendly people behind the desk wished me the best in my travels which made all the difference.
