I've done a bit of BBQ in my day so I knew the moment I walked in I was in the right place. That smell of wood smoke was mouth watering! We had the brisket sandwich and it was great! Tender and flavorful with a nice bark, very nicely done! The cheesey potatoes were excellent as well. We're definitely coming back!

Excellent brisket! Cole slaw was delicious as well. Had a good talk with the owner, good people. We will be back

One of the best briscuits I ever had!  Food is absolutely delicious.  Seating and dining room could be upgraded a bit but you can't beat the food.  Great local spot for BBQ.

Food is great!  Coleslaw was homemade, my wife loves the cheesy potatoes. The beef brisket and ribs are the best we've found in the area.  Drink selection is limited, but it has a nice homey feel.  Good for take out or dining in.

Van Wert is lucky/blessed to have this great casual dinner deliciousness! I love their ribs with a side of cheesy potatoes. The pulled pork with slaw...mmm...
