Wild Iris Mountain Sports was started in 1990 by Amy and Todd Skinner with two major tenets in mind: to employ climbers and provide a source of equipment for those climbers. It quickly became a gathering place for locals and visitors.

I stopped in to stretch my legs while driving from Idaho to Colorado. I wasn't looking for anything specific, but I found a few cool notecards and neat stickers. The staff was friendly and reasonably attentive. If I had been in the market for new outdoor gear, this shop seemed to stock a good collection of apparel, footwear, and hardgood brands. 
Parking in front of the store is very limited, and I'm not sure if there's more around back, or if street parking is the only alternative. If there hadn't been an available spot out front, I probably would not have stopped, tbh.

Fantastic local outdoor equipment store.  The people that work here are always friendly.  Great knowledge base to find local hikes, rides, and climbs.
