Wild Rice Restaurant is located just south of Bayfield, WI on the shore of Lake Superior. Nestled in the woods, this building was built in 2001. Eclectic and eccentric, yet warm and welcoming, Wild Rice Restaurant is open for dinner Mid-May through October.
Wild Rice Restaurant is available for weddings and special events, and hosts it's own annual multi-course dinners such as "Tired of Turkey" and a New Year's Eve celebration.
Menu items include; Northstar Bison tenderloin, local Whitefish and Trout, fresh seafood, and a wood fire grilled NY Strip steak. Locally produced meats and vegetables are selected as frequently as possible.
Desserts; "Molten" Chocolate Cake, Wild Rice Cake, homemade ice creams, tortes, cheesecakes, and sorbet.
Appetizers; Tarte Flambe, Fresh Mozzarella, Artisan Cheese Plate, and Wild Rice Soup. Seasonal and local fruits and vegetables are often featured.
All menu items are served with an artistic flair and plenty of French bread, all of which can be enjoyed in the main dining room, on the deck, or in the bar.
Reservations are encouraged, but not required.
