Story

Wild Wing Café is Asheville’s home to catch a game, grab a quick lunch, feed the kiddos for a casual dinner, grab one of our HUGE selection of local pints on draft, or enjoy a late night band.
We have won Asheville’s “best wings” for eight years running, but we are more than just your average wing joint. Not only do we have the BEST wings with in town with 34 sauces to choose from, our menu offers tons of choices for non-wing lovers too. Some of our favorites include, Steak House Burgers, Fall of the Bone Ribs, and our Incredible Char Grilled Chicken Salad with homemade salad dressings. We don’t skimp on fresh ingredients here. Our menu is loaded with homemade goodness.

I had the two shrimp skewers in the garlic sauce with two sides coleslaw and fat fries which are potato wedges. My meal was good. My husband had the chicken feathers with the Jalapeno cheddar sauce with bacon potato salad. His chicken feathers really did not have any flavor like he normally gets from the location he normally goes to in Florida but he was able to get extra sauce to dip it in. My son's bone in chicken wings were a little over cooked and also had no real sauce flavor but they did replace it with new wings and that round the wings had flavor and was not over cooked. Other than that we liked it. The service was good, the staff was friendly. And the manager was so nice and friendly. When we come back to Asheville, NC again we will definitely come back to eat. Things happen, the fact that they were nice and were willing to correct the issues is a good thing.

Since Johnny has become manager, everything is so much better. Food prepared and served in timely manner. Presentation on food is excellent. My husband and I have been to this establishment once a week for 2 years. Since JOHNNY has become manager, he makes any effort to welcome patrons. He has made this establishment an enjoyable place to eat.

Just observed the Manager handle a group of young people who were complaining about a shot being watered down and not wanting to pay. Did the customer really order a “chilled” shot and not understand???? Then wanted to come to my table and tell my group to avoid the shots. In your young twenties maybe you should ask your parents how things are done if you even have any????? There was no respect for the manager. The manager handled the issue very professional and I commend him for the way he handled the situation. Wild wings is lucky to have someone that won’t be run over. Absolutely the best manager I have seen in an establishment for many years. Thank you for a great night and not letting the “kids” take advantage of you or Wild Wings. Awesome place!!!! I asked the manager for his name just for this post. John Luce - thank you for a great night. Awesome waitress Cassandra. Who by the way was the same waitress for th “kids”.

We've been coming to Wild Wing Café every Monday for a few years now. The wings are excellent and the service is great, other tasty items on the menu, too (the burgers are top notch). Johnny Luce comes by our table and has been making sure everything is to our satisfaction (thank you Johnny!). Always a great experience.

Great wings! Get the atomic! The lunch buffet is the best bang for your buck. Always a great beer special as well and live music in the evenings.
