What a wonderful place! I've lived in the area my whole life but only recently made my way to this hidden treasure. It doesn't feel like you're in the middle of an urban neighborhood. My 20 month old son loves it here. The best part is, it's FREE!

This place was larger than I thought. Beautiful views of the city and ocean at the top of the hill, a neat little pond with giant koi fish and a few turtles. Lots of fallen trunks and stumps to explore and sit/climb on. A good amount of picnic tables as well as a few sinks and bbq grills too! On mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays they provide fish food. A very pleasant and rugged place for a jog, picnic or just take in the sights 😊

This small but robust park has several features in it - probably most exciting are the ponds. There were two, but as of August 2017, one is entirely dry. The other is small, but filled with koi, a couple of varieties of turtles, and other small wildlife. For a quarter you can buy fish food on location to feed them Monday-Saturday. There are a handful of picnic benches spread across the property. It's a great little place to take the wee ones, they can explore, climb, and run at their hearts content. Parking area is right as you pull in through the gate. Restrooms are on location.

Lovely place to spend time with family. Plenty of shade from the summer heat. Perfect for picnics. Love the pond and turtles.

This is a great place for children. Great views, a pond with turtles and fish, stones blackberry bushes, an amphitheater, a few has grills, bathrooms everywhere. You can stay overnight with a tent, we haven't checked that option out yet. I have three little kids so before camping somewhere in the mountains I will be happy to do a trial camping at this place. It's small but for little kids it's just what's needed in the middle of the city. No playground and it doesn't need one.
