Sad to see the over response by the officers as well as the lack of respect by the young lady. I respect all law enforcer and know they have a hard job but as with all people we have good and bad and at any given moment we can react contrary to our nature. In this case the force used seams excessive to the threat. Admitting mistakes and resolving them regains trust and rights wrongs. Both parties in the event reacted badly and I think the videos document this. I hope the officials step up and do what is right. I am left as with many others a negative impression of Wildwood.
I am going to go with two stars here because of the natural location is actually more appealing than the ugly people who have come to inhabit this place. It is unfortunate that these young men feel so empowered by wearing a badge and feel that they have some kind of ultimate power of others. What is even worse is that the chief allows this to happen. We used to go here often but we don't anymore for other reasons. WW has become run down. We pass through every now and then and hit the boardwalk. Sad. The whole thing is just sad.
I will be taking my vacation dollars elsewhere until the bullying psychopaths who repeatedly punched Emily Weinman in the head are fired and charged with felony battery. It's not okay to beat people up just because you have a badge.
Nobody wants to do their job, including the mayor. City Hall just wants to yes you too death and then just pass the buck. Total corruption.
They train their police to beat up children on the beach. Scumbags
This place is awesome and a great destination for some family fun
