The parking fee and availability are superb! The cleanliness also beats most beaches near Santa Monica and the sunset on a clear day is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS! Bring a beach towel, a Bluetooth speaker, food, and drinks — you are set! Of course bring your pets and loved ones too!
It feels less busy than Santa Monica but you don't need it, parking is large and the beach is clean. You don't need to walk a long distance to get to the beach but there are less restrooms. Anyway, it is a great place to chill.
What a wonderful experience to park at Will Rogers State Beach you can get out walk along the path there's picnic benches there's the ocean 50 yards away it was beautiful relaxing very clean the administrative staff came by even though it was after hours and they were checking on things such as infrastructure I appreciate very much the care and the time it goes into maintaining these public spaces I saw some high school kids exercising with their team it look like lacrosse they were running wind sprints on the beach with their coach it looks like there's places where you can buy food but they were closed when I got there which wasn't a big deal cuz I had my own food anyways there were helicopters flying around very close overhead and there was a view to the South I believe where you could see the Santa Monica Pier very beautiful beach a decent amount of people coming and going rollerblading riding bikes walking their animals just an overall very pleasant experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting California
This place has everything. Trail checked. Hike checked. Bike route checked. Beach checked. Game center checked. Amusement park with a wheel checked. It's just 2 miles from the very popular Santa Monica pier yet you get the best from both sides minus the crowdedness. And the parking is cheaper as well. Nice place for family with kids, visiting people from out of state, and locals.
This was my 1st time here. We had a private Memorial for our late mather. It was beautiful. To have the cool wind and the ocean breeze along with the amazing sound of the ocean waves. The people all around us was very nice, caring and picked up after themselves. Clean Beach and not over crowded.
Fantastic!!! Beautiful beach, close parking 9 dollars daytime free in evening, small Cafe which was a little expensive, bathrooms and showers conveniently located close, life guards, and well maintained!! Love it and highly recommend!
Nice beach with clean restrooms. Snack bar at the beach. Lots of space and some volleyball courts. Paid parking or free on the street up the canyon.
Really nice beach with $15 parking fee. Much better than trying to get into the crowded Santa Monica area. Sand and water are clean. There's bathrooms and vendors nearby. Walking and bike paths are great too.
Parking is 9 dollars on the weekend . Lots of parking space avaliable though. Very clean restroom on the beach. Well taken care of área
Great place to just chill and let the day pass you by while listening to the calming Beach. Take some kind of shade and snacks. If your able to stay for the sunset it’s totally worth it.
