There are warnings against a mountain líon roaming around this area. I walk here all the time and never seen anything not even tracks but I saw lots of deer tracks. The maps on some of the trails don't seem to be right. I really enjoy walking here. The trees and all the leaves. The lack of enough bathrooms is rather frustrating. But the park is immensely enjoyable.

Eternally grateful to Willamette Mission State Park for providing us a place to land and watch the recent eclipse! It was clear upon entering the park the staff and volunteers had planned carefully for the likely crowds that day, and it paid off for the visitors, providing them a beautiful place, without any hassles at all, to watch the rare astronomical event. Such hospitality! The park, of course, is beautiful in its own right, and we look forward to coming back. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I mostly disc golf here but always clean well maintained park with beautiful scenery

It's okay for a state park. I think the day parking pass price is ridiculous. Most of the trails at well kept and not close to the parking areas. It's obviously designed for able bodied people making it impossible to use for anyone wheelchair bound or who uses a cane gor support. There's been little forethought into making this park usable for all.

This is a large and well kept  park with many amenities. In this trip we spent time hiking,  collecting leaves,  watching horses grey saddled up for a trail ride, and locals experiment with their rc drone hobbies.
