We stayed in one of the cabins and it was absolutely beautiful. We did stay in October so there were no mosquitoes to worry about. The place is well kept and the bathrooms were really clean. The walking trails are a must. There is plenty to do and there is some amazing views of the mountains. The sunsets and sunrises phenomenal. I highly recommend staying in one of the cabins during the colder months.

Can't get enough if this place! The water is so warm, the reservoir is gigantic, and you can use your state park pass! This is unlike another reservoir 30mins away that is very crowded and hard to enjoy. Here at Willard you can find you own pasture of water and enjoy it without being bugged by others. The beaches are very large and can accommodate very large groups without reservation. My buddies and I can't get enough of this place! The kids also live the inflatable parks right on the beach. Forget the rest and come to Willard!

Best shotgun course ever!!! This is the PERFECT place to practice your mojo. Duck hunting or bunny blasting, the course is bound to push you to your limits. And the fact that there is relatively low rates here makes it even more accessible.

We had site 71 which unfortunately backs up to the low rent non electric area. It appears private as there are large trees between the area's but don't be fooled. We endured yelling and screaming and loud thumping music starting at 8:30 every morning and it was LOUD! Multiple complaints and the park ranger refused to shut them down. Multiple days of this. We traveled from NY to visit our relatives and the trip was ruined. If you get quiet neighbors, its a nice place. If not, find another campground because they won't do anything about it. Never again Willard Bay!

This is a gorgeous place to go boating, water skiing, tubing, etc....The scenery is amazing and the water was pretty comfortable. If you're looking for a place to cool off during the hot, summer days, I highly recommend Willard Bay. However, I also recommend you either leave before the sun begins to set, OR bring A LOTof insect repellent if you choose to stay during this time (it's a very beautiful sunset). This is important because the mosquitoes are absolutely terrible!!!! Hope to see you out there.
