This store sold me a bottle of red wine with a cork that was rotting on the inside. I took the bottle and cork back to show the shop owner to exchange it for a new bottle of the same wine, and the shop owner refused. They then told me I must just not like the taste of the wine - I asked for the same wine in exchange and this is a wine we drink often - I explained this to them. I even asked them to taste it to check themselves; they refused and told me to call the cops if I have a problem!! I live down the road and will not be buying anything from this store again.

Agreed. Way way way too overpriced! It's a shame because it's conveniently located next to my apartment, but I would rather travel a little bit further away to pay a reasonable price. There are a very SELECT FEW wines and beers that are inexpensive however.

Wayyyyyyyy too over priced! I don't understand how they can get away with charging so much. It's almost price gauging. The owners have such a terrible attitude towards customers, which is a shame because customers are the reason why businesses thrive in Hoboken.
