Wilmington Rock Gym---is a fun way to try a new sports activity and keep in shape.

Story

Wilmington Rock Gym is a 3,000 square foot gym with over 3,200 square feet of climbing surface with heights up to 21ft. We have terrain for beginners up to advanced climbers, with climbing holds produced by some of the best manufacturers in the country. These include Nicros, eGrips, and Atomic. There will be 2 Headrush auto-belays which will give access to up to 10 routes (coming soon).

There are currently 50+ top rope routes and 20+ bouldering routes. High-intensity training wall & free weights in separate training room will be available for those of you training for your next outdoor climbing expeditions. Wilmington Rock Gym is the place to begin a new and challenging sport for all ages from toddlers to seniors. Come join us!

Very cute gym. Me and my wife decided to stretch after long drive from DC to Wilmington. The staffs were very friendly and helpful. The routes and bouldering problems are well thought out with fun and challenging moves.

We recently celebrated our son's 8th birthday at Wilmington Rock Gym. The kids had the best time and were talking about it for days. Haley and Meredith were wonderful wrangling the group of rowdy 8 year old boys. They got to play games and rock climb. What more could you ask for. Afterwards there is a separate room for pizza and cake. I would highly recommend this business for a party for all ages. Hope to go back soon.

These guys put in a lot of work to set interesting routes, and fit a variety of wall styles into their space. Bouldering routes and top rope for all levels, as well as a back room with barbell/dumbbell gear make this an excellent 1 stop shop for fun fitness.

So fun! There's finally a rock gym in town and it doesn't disappoint. Lots of fun, varied routes for both beginners, intermediates and advanced climbers and boulderers. The employees are so nice and will always give you advice on a route, gear, or local climbing spots.
