This is a place that I have often frequently visited from childhood. I remember free fishing days way back then and they still go on today. Idaho Fish and Game regularly stocks these ponds and it's great to pass on mentorship to your children and grandchildren. The wildlife is abundant as far as geese and mud ducks go but they are so interesting to watch as a intermingle among themselves for nesting rights. The people that walk down the pathways always seem nice and easy going I am a fun-loving go happy-go-lucky guy and it's nice to talk to strangers. You can see the sunset to the West if you stay long enough. Most of the time they're breathtaking. The hours are not 24 but you can go there from sunup to sundown do you solemnly. This is a great place to catch some dinner or just passed sometime. I am really glad my Anglers license fees go in part to keep this community alive. If you don't like fishing at least you can walk around the pathways and it's dog friendly child friendly wheelchair friendly and there's a couple of bathrooms located on opposite ends. One thing I do is pick up other people's trash on my way in or out just to keep this place beautiful. And for those of you that have been here for a while you'll notice new upgrades with Crossing Bridges and pathways and it's really nice.

Perfect place to go fishing. Easy for kids to also fish here. The walking paths are also nice. Would be even better if the people that visit here would take their trash with them when they leave.

It used to be a fantastic place for a walk or run, a place to bring the kids to see the birds without having to drive too far. Now most of the farmland surrounding it is all torn up and subdivisions are pushed right up to the edge. Hard to get a photo without some cookie cutter house in the background. You no longer feel like you are experiencing nature, rather you feel your in a city park slowly being choked of it's value for the short term gain of anonymous individuals. It really is quite tragic but us pair for the course these days in Canyon County.

Very peaceful and clean. Lots of wildlife to sit and watch interact with one another. People are respectful and maintain a clean environment, however if someone leaves trash everyone else will pick it up to help keep it clean. Great fishing as well.
