In cabin 9 for the weekend which proved to an amazing weekend with the help of Mark the manager. We were up there for our daughters 21st birthday and from being very flexible with the boat rental, which you have to get out and see beautiful Spider Lake, to recommending a great pizza place to eat to then answering any needs we had within minutes we view this as one of the better places we have ever stayed. Cabin 9 was very spacious and beautiful with its own fire pit which was very cozy , to the community fire that was nice to sit by and meet and talk to people . Overall this is a place that cares about the people who stay here and wants you to leave with happy memories !

Had a wonderful stay. Cabin was great, and the site was well-kept. The only thing I would suggest is lines for parking. With people bringing larger vehicles, it's difficult to park in the designated spaces without worrying that someone's car door might hit another vehicle.

This place was absolutely amazing, peaceful, quiet with a great view and a fantastic lake area. Thanks to Mark for looking after us, would have loved to stay a lot longer. I would recommend to anyone of all ages to visit.

I'm not one to write a bad review. In fact, I was going to leave Windjammer a good review DESPITE the fact that the dishes were dirty when we got there AND there was puke on the pullout couch's sheets.... So their wouldn't be any issues once we left, we made the supervisor aware while we were there. We did not want our deposit to be kept over something we did not do. We had 4 dogs along with us & we were very aware of them and made sure nothing was damaged or dirty. Our dogs are very important to us which is why we choose a dog friendly place to begin with. With that being said, I will try to make this short. Windjammer attempted to use our dogs as a way to charge us more. Stating their was pee on the walls & that it was left smelling of urine. That was NOT the case. In fact, we even went above and beyond when we cleaned before we left the cabin. We brought our own cleaning supplies in case the pups did make a mess. Essentially, they were trying to come up with any excuse to not give us our money back AND charge us more. Because of this ridiculous hassle, I would not recommend them to anyone else. We are very fair people, and with the amount of dogs coming with us, I was prepared to not get our security deposit back because something COULD happen. However I left saying, awesome. We’ll get it back, the cabin looks awesome after we left.. I do not appreciate their low attempt to steal from us. Not okay. Bogus management.

Great resort. Everything was nice and clean in the cabin and close by to everything in traverse. Would recommend this to any family looking to enjoy the outdoors in summer
