We went to a wedding reception here and the sights were great. Right on a cove on Lake Dillon so it is hidden from I-70. Beware that as the name implies it can be very windy here.

It is a big paved parking lot, kind of wallmart parking in smaller size. I was expecting  different "campground"but that actualy it is a camping spot. You can park there and stay for the night. There is a fee. The good part is - it is within 20 -25 ft off the lake shore, that is shallow and if you have little kids it is great for them. The bad part is if you like to be parked like at your local wallmart store, on lined parking spaces, nxt to each other..  
We have 3 dogs and no way i could enjoy it.
There are picknik tables and grills iff the paved parking, on grassy part  betw lake and parking lot. 
I think if you have a tent, it will be ok spot to sleep. But nothing like staying few days, as too much traffic and feels unsettled. 
I give 4 stars because of the magnificent views and lake accesibility.

Beautiful campground right on the lake. Lots of hiking trails, clean toilets and water.

Beautiful campground, space for RV's, pop-up campers, and tents.  Spectacular views to the North and West.  Campground has 2 sites, one with a covered pavilion (with lake views) and one without.  Covered pavilion has multiple cooking areas, sinks for washing dishes (no water access at the sink), and spigot with potable water.  Both pavilions can access a small water alcove for kayaking.  Great site for dogs as well, lots of places to walk and explore.  Well kept restroom facilities were great to have.
