I didn't know how unhappy I was with our longtime vet until we went to see Dr. Klein. I knew we were never in love with the vet we had been going to for over 10 years, but I didn't think it was a big deal. We decided to get a second opinion from Dr. Klein on our old dog who has been very sick. After seeing Dr. Klein I realized that I shouldn't have settled for just an okay vet all those years because having someone so compassionate and informative makes an incredible difference. I was a blubbering mess talking about the possibility of having to put our dog down and she was extremely comforting and supportive while offering advice. I felt like she really listened to my concerns and explained everything as she was doing it. The other staff members I came into contact with were also very friendly and compassionate as well. Our pooch may not have very much time left, but we will be taking him to Dr. Klein for the remainder of his visits and if we ever get another dog in the future we will be taking him/her here as well.

We were introduced to Wine Country Veterinary Hospital after we adopted our dog, Maxwell, from Green Dog Rescue Project. 

The staff at WCVH administered his neuter and gave him basic booster shots before he was up for adoption, things we think normally would instill fear in our furbabies, but Max gets sooo excited when we visit! WCVH definitely provides compassionate, considerate, genuine, loving care for animals, it shows! We are so very grateful for the entire WCVH team and the opportunity to have our little nubbins in their care. We strongly recommend them to any furry, scaly, feathery pet owner!

Hands down,  the nicest vet I have EVER been to!!!!!  I was able to bring my duck(Ducky) to be treated yesterday.  They were so caring and so sweet!  They communicated with me to where I could understand(not those crazy medical terms, that some people have trouble understanding).  Thank you wine county vet for saving our Ducky!!!

Unfortunately I had to put down my sweet little lulu, Dr. Jessica Klein and her staff were very kind and compassionate  throughout this difficult process. I received Lulu's ashes along with a kind handwritten note from Dr. Klein and also a pink paw print of Lulu's. Thank you to Dr. Klein and her staff
