Location is everything your location in Point Pleasant and Manasquan are key...have been a customer for a very long time the staff is overall great. 
Except for 1 employee in your Point location I might not be back...I hope she is not a manager or owner she is there often never smiles and is outright rude and condescending.  She is usually  doing the wine tasting machine and every interaction I have had with her is usually unpleasant, but this Saturday about 3:45 in the afternoon I unfortunately has the pleasure of being checked out by this women.
Rude lacks people skills etc...not even capable of pretending that she appreciates your patronage...maybe a thank you or explanation  to the customer that your club card is not scanning so that is why she is continuing to scan your card while asking your name and asking again ...because she is so uptight and unable to tell the difference between the  letters p and t when you give her name. You probably just lost a customer

The past year I have always chosen to go to this store, until today. I do not know much about wine, so you would think employees at the wine outlet would be very helpful regarding this subject, right? There was one lady, who I assume is the same woman the other comments are referring to, who was very very degrading and unhelpful. I simply asked if they carried a specific brand of wine, and I was scolded for not bringing more information in regarding the brand. Literally scolded like I was a child. She also would not allow me to get a word in because she was too caught up in her own ego. When I asked another, more helpful, employee, he looked it up on the computer for me. Don't know why she had to degrade her customer. Will not be going here again due to this experience.

This is my first review I've ever written. I'm not one to write reviews, but in this certain instance, I felt I really needed to. I've been going to this store for almost two years now. I don't go too much, but if I am in the area I will. For all of the times I've went, the majority of the workers are nice, except for one person. I found out by a worker that her name is Jean. Every single time that I've been in there and she has been working, I feel uncomfortable. She gives dirty looks, and just doesn't seem friendly at all.. I've literally never experienced such a miserable person in my life. I was there a few days ago and she rung me up and was nothing but sarcastic and nasty. I really don't think I'll be going in here anymore because of her. Someone needs to teach her customer service cause as far as I'm concerned, she has none.

Great prices and great selection.

I took off two stars because of my interactions with two workers.

Interaction #1... When I ask for a wine that I enjoy, albeit a cheap wine, don't respond condescendingly, don't say "You don't want that one."  Don't assume your customer doesn't know wine.

Interaction #2... Rather than shadow me from a slight distance, maybe say "hello" or "may I help you." Don't stare at me with your hands on your hips like I'm a potential thief. When you treat your customers with distrust, they will resent it.

I decided to give them my business anyway because they may be nice people who just need some lessons in customer service. I won't be afraid to lower this to a one star if I have future negative experiences. I'd rather pay more of my hard-earned money at another business than be treated poorly.
