If you're not satisfied here, you are a very, very picky person. Everything was super nice. Almost like brand new! This place is very well kept. Friendly Staff to welcome you, and a delicious Continental Breakfast before you leave. Thumbs up for this place! They know what they are doing to get you to come back some more!

Wonderful place to stay. Breakfast saved us time and was good. Bed's were very comfortable! No bed bugs.

Had a great experience at the hotel on my way out of Irma. The staff were super nice and accommodating, the room was well sized, and the complementary breakfast was well rounded with a variety of foods, including the classic hotel do-it-yourself waffles. Pool looked well sized, though I didn't use it, or the spa. Only downside was that it was easy to hear loud noises through the walls, which woke me up a little earlier than I had wanted.

My family just traveled from Atlanta to watch our son graduate from Ft. Jackson. We were a fairly large crowd (9). We reserved 2 rooms and one was immaculate. My father, who is quite picky, was very pleased. Our second room had a couple of issues. Bed linens had a stain and shower nozzle would not create any temp but "boil you" or "cool you" (no "ahhh, just right"). The linens were replaced immediately with many apologies and we were moved to a second room with a better shower for our second night. The staff was very accommodating when we asked to bring a party of 18 into the breakfast dining area for a picnic lunch. A thank you to Ms. Adean who was warm and friendly as we bombarded her dining area. More thank yous to Tina and Peggy who listened patiently to my small complaints and took action immediately. In life, things go wrong, a good hotel is measured by their willingness to professionally handle their customers needs. Wingate at Lexington did just that. Many thanks for helping make our 2 day visit with our son a great memory!

Spacious room, close to Columbia and where we wanted to go. Plenty of options to eat nearby. Breakfast was a bit confusing and disorganized, someone needs to rethink the layout and add a couple more strategically placed trashcans. We had a ground floor room next to the outside ac units. You would expect it to be noisy. You wouldn't expect a security spotlight in that area to shine into the room. Well it wasn't noisy, but the blackout curtains could not block the light. Light seeped in down the center and on both sides.
