I am a do-it-yourselfer as much as I can, but knew if my starter ever failed, I wasn't interested in the headache considering how hard it was to get to. In my mind, I had settled on a ballpark price of repair. Sure enough, the day came for that starter to fail in a parking lot right across the street from Randy. I needed the car back on the road ASAP. Called him up. Told him the situation. He quoted me right where it should have been. I wish the towing service would have given me a little bit more of a break for the very short trip but that's out of Randy's hands and irrelevant to my review of his shop. 24 hours later the job was done. I would recommend Wings Auto to anyone.

Went to 2 other places first and had my issue diagnosed and estimated at $2000. Went to Randy, he stated he thought it was something else and suggested we attempt to fix that first (for $500) based on something he had seen several times before. Turned out he was correct. Incidentally the $2000 estimates would not have fixed the issue, and I would have had to still spend the $500.

Randy cheated us. We were supposed to get a new exhaust system and a Freon charge. He jury rigged our exhaust with parts that cost less than 50.00. He used 2 small flex-pipes and another small piece of pipe. Never putting on an exhaust at all NO MUFFLER and NO TAILPIPE He also removed 60.00 worth of NEW PARTS and kept them. A large piece of flex-pipe, an adapter, and two large U clamps with bolts. Basically he pilfered them. I'm sure he'll use them on some other car! We paid 120.00 for a Freon charge which was advertised for cheaper. Our bill was 1000.00, we were totally ripped off

My family and I have been going to Randy for over 25 years. He does great work and I trust him to only perform the work that needs to be done. I will go nowhere else... Don't ever retire Randy!
