My hygienist was great, but the dentist not so much. I had seen a dentist (Dr. Burris in Athens) for years and had left only because he was out of network for my insurance. He had replaced many old fillings, and at the time I left his care I was told I had one new cavity that needed filled. When I came to this office I needed 9 fillings redone because they were leaking, and a crown. Thousands of dollars and, and some of the fillings he wanted to replace I had just had replaced less than a year. He talked me into getting a crown on a tooth my former dentist had just worked on. He showed me a small crack and said it may break and cause pain one day. I agreed, and the process was awful. After he filed my tooth down he informed me I may need a root canal because it was close to my nerve. The material for my temporary crown wouldn't stick and after what seemed like forever with his assistant I ask for a break. As I walk to the bathroom I see the Dr. playing on his phone in his office. Finally after I walk back to the room and complain the assistant goes to get him for help. I was also told my insurance would only pay for a metal crown. I was fine with that since it was a back tooth, but when I went to get my final crown it was porcelain. When I got the bill for more than was discussed I called and was told "we only do porcelain." Why was I not told this before hand? I had such a bad time I never went back. It took me 3 years to find a new dentist and get over my fear. I went yesterday and no surprise to me, but this dentist found no leaking fillings, even though I never went back to have the 9 or so replacements done at Winn Smiles.

I use to love winn smiles I was going ever since I was 13 (I'm 21 now). Due to a recent outrageous payment on two fillings I have decided to quit going here. They charged me almost double for two white back fillings and tried to blame my insurance for not covering the amount. I have never had an issue with my insurance and always understood that I paid more for white fillings. I don't know if they recently have charged more for fillings or what but even being in network I had to pay $250 just for two small white fillings in the back of my mouth. It's never been that much that's why I never had an issue. I hate to leave since I love telling people how long I've been there but I'm not going to go to a place that charges almost double before insurance for one white filling.

The only problem I have with this dentist office is that everytime I schedule an appointment for my kids they always have to reschedule for some reason or another down the road. When we go to reschedule the appointments though it is many months down the road from the original appointment time. My son has had to have his filling rescheduled twice and now they can't see him until August! His original appointment was in March!!

The hygienists and dentists at Winn Smiles are always so efficient, timely, professional, and friendly. They truly look out for their patients and make sure that their teeth are healthy through their thorough cleaning process and their different technologies that many dentists do not have. They make going to the dentist a positive experience and always have me looking forward to my next appointment! Thank you Winn for a wonderful experience!

WINN SMILES is a Fabulous Dental office!!!!! ALL of the staff that I interacted with were extremely nice & very helpful & friendly. Erica & Dr. Brad performed quite a bit of work on me today & I never felt any pain or discomfort! Dr. Brad is quite skillful & even the numbing shots didn't hurt! How awesome!!!!! I would & will refer everyone I know to start using Winn Smiles!!!!! Thank you soooooo much for the absolute BEST dental experience I've ever had!!!!
