Dr Wood is a fantastic Dentist. He is very knowledgeable and always up-to-date . He takes his time performing all the required restoration work for my teeth. He always remembers the issues in my mouth and checks on them. Overall I have been extremely delighted by the service that I have received at the Winter Street Dental Group.

It was only after I started to write this review that I realized what a difficult patient I am. I didn't choose my parents carefully enough - at least not in the tooth department, so my teeth were so bad that the dentist I had when I was five firmly informed my mother that I'd have none of them left by the time I was eighteen. I also have a small mouth, and TMJ disorder, so I have difficulty opening my mouth wide enough, or keeping it open for long. Did I mention that I'm allergic to both pain and epinephrin? The former makes me definitely in need of local anesthetic - but the latter means that the dentist has to keep stopping frequently to re-inject the anesthesia, because it dissipates quickly without the epinephrine. So now you understand why I'm a difficult patient. The reason I had to remind myself that I'm difficult, is because I really never feel that way, at least not at Winter Street Dental Group. Dr. Wood has my teeth - yes, I still have them, thanks to him - and jaw functioning better than they ever have in my adult life. They're also looking better, and I have every prospect that they'll remain that way. From the cheerful greeting I get when I arrive, through the superb work of the group's dental hygienists to the unparalleled dental skill of Dr. Wood and his colleagues, my "difficult" dental needs are taken care of with ease, and grace. I've been to enough, eh, should I call them dentists with lesser skills, to truly appreciate what I found at the Winter Street Dental Group.
