Excellent park in Tallahassee! Nice shaded playground and adjoining tennis courts and ball fields for free play. Bathrooms are also public and available for use with a family bathroom as well.

Winthrop Park is one of Tallahassee's better parks for sure, especially for kids and families.  It has great baseball/softball fields next to a really beautiful, shaded playground; which is great during the summer when it's really hot and sunny outside.  My kids and I have also played tennis and frisbee on the grass.  i run around the grassy field about once a week.  The location off Betton Rd. and near Thomasville Rd is convenient.  The families and people are usually pretty friendly and during the summer they have summer camps for youth that are around the picnic tables.  Thanks.

Great place to go play. Good trees to avoid summer sun.

There was something gross on our court...I won't go into details.  People come play tennis & leave their empty water bottles & especially their empty ball cans with the sharp tabs laying around.  There are trash cans all over the place so it would be nice if peeps used them.  Lots of 🍌 peels left too & that brings bugs.  There is a score pole missing in one of the courts too that COT Parks & Rec needs to replace.

Very pretty park with very nice playground. Great for taking the kids or even birthday parties!
