David Price Construction sub contracted Bruce Keli at Wireways Limited Electrical to perform all of the electrical tasks on our extensive remodel. To say the work was mediocre is an understatement. Bruce was not thorough and always in a rush. He had a "just get it done and get out" mentality. We were constantly walking through his work and requesting things get redone. Some of which he would do over and some of which he refused leading us to hire our own electrician and essentially pay twice to have the job done correctly. One example is the under cabinet lighting. He used blue painters tape and duct tape to hide the wires. When we asked for it to be done differently we were asked how else we would want it done as if that was the only way. Our cabinet installer actually ended up fixing it for us using a much more aesthetically pleasing and equally functional method. He also refused to fix the bathroom chandelier that was hung too high saying it wasn't possible because the wire was too short. The new electrician we hired did it no problem. We had recessed lighting that was installed post demo before the sheet rock went up. My husband repeatedly told him and pointed out lights that were not symmetrical or spaced out appropriately. He never moved them. Sheet rock went up and then had to be cut and removed to fix the lighting. He had to cut the sheet rock under the electrical panel and he never replaced the insulation and the reinstallation was mediocre. The list of issues goes on. Furthermore, we failed inspections the first time around in part because Bruce did not clean up after his jobs. Clearly this shows how poor the project management is as well but this speaks volumes for the lack of attention to detail Bruce has on his jobs.
