This service is excellent! I am impressed with the work. No hidden charges or surprises.
Chicago Bungalow Owner, I needed some electrical work done and used the Chicago Bungalow Association for references and the Wizard popped up. I’ve read some of the reviews and of the negative ones that I came across I have to say I totally disagree. Customer service was excellent when setting up the appointment over the Memorial Day weekend. I had the pleasure of working with Rob, who had great knowledge of Chicago Bungalows and was spot on with his information so to you Rob; I Thank You! I will ABSOLUTELY use this company again for any and all my electrical needs. Job Done: trouble shoot electrical short, 3 new light switches, installed a ceiling fan and made a Not safe wiring to another ceiling fan safe so that I can install a new one myself.
We chose Wizard Electric to upgrade our service to 200 amps, replace a panel and add a couple of new circuits in our basement. Work was top notch and communication was excellent. We will definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.PositiveQuality, ProfessionalismServicesGround wire installation, Electrical wiring installation, Electrical panel replacement or upgrading
This is the best place to hire for your electrical needs, especially if you have an older house like my bungalow. Cloth wiring, weird homeowner repairs, these guys have seen it all. They are professional and on time, and they do great work. Call them with confidence
We had a wonderful experience with Tom. He was super responsive, proactive, and knew his stuff. His advice was exactly what we needed!
I contacted Wizard Electric on August 5, 2020 to do a repair of a can light inside my house and to install a new outlet in my garage. They quoted me their hourly rates and scheduled me for 10am-2pm on August 14, 2020. Well, August 14 comes and I wait and wait, and as it nears 2pm, I decide to give them a call to see if they are still coming. I end up speaking to the same guy who scheduled my appointment. To my surprise, he tells me that I am not one of the names on today's job list. He puts me on hold, and after a long wait, comes back to tell me that somehow he managed to schedule me for JULY 14, 2020, instead of August 14. He scheduled me for a day that was ALREADY 22 DAYS IN THE PAST when my appointment was made! 22 DAYS IN THE PAST!?! If true, these people must be running the world's worst computer system, because I'm pretty sure most scheduling software would not allow a user to schedule for dates that are three weeks past. No effort whatsoever was made to get somebody to my house to honor the appointment they made 9 days earlier. Instead I was given a litany of excuses about how busy he is and how the recent storm has people offering them "$1000 to come out and do work." When I asked for somebody to come tomorrow Saturday, I was told no. When I asked for somebody to come Monday the next weekday, I was also told no. Save yourself the trouble and call a company that honors its appointments. At the very least, I would have expected Wizard Electric to do everything they could to get an electrician to my house ASAP to make up for this ridiculous mistake. But nope. Too busy. So sorry. What a joke.
I called Wizard Electric yesterday to help us with a bathroom lighting project, and they promptly scheduled us for today. Rob, our electrician, did an excellent job. He was very professional, friendly and efficient. Thank you!
I accidently dead shorted a wire in an outlet box, although nothing tripped in the breaker the entire house lost power not good. I was lucky and was able to reach Tom on the phone he walked me through it. We were able to find a breaker outside by the meter which I reset and the power came back on Tom saved me time and money, however most importantly my weekend. Thanks Tom!!!!!
The greatest customer service I EVER experienced. Com Ed disconnected service to my first floor apartment before I had a chance to put it in my name after tenet moved, stating there was a backfeed. I called Wizard and talked to Tom, he took it upon himself to call Com Ed and get them to come out with in an hour and totally fix the problem. NO CHARGE. THANKS TOM.
Very unprofessional service. We were having problems with the electricity in our building, and they came to inspect the panels. Ended up charging more than double the price they had quoted for the initial diagnostics, and the quick fix they did didn't address the issue at all.NegativeProfessionalism, ValueServicesGeneral repairs
