My family and some friends rented a house in Isla Del Sol on Galveston last week. The location was great but the condition of the house and related equipment was absolutely deplorable. The air filters in the A/C units appear to not have been changed for months, maybe years as they had a 1/4 inch of filth on them-not exaggerating. There were two ice makers in the house, neither of which worked. The outdoor shower didn't work. The tv in the living room had loose cables in a cabinet that took an hour to troubleshoot to get it too work. The sprayer on the kitchen sink was broken. There wasn't enough plates and silverware for our group of 8 to go more than one meal without washing dishes. All of the pots and pans show severe signs of wear, many with flaking non-stick coatings coming off and several with food caked on them from previous tenants. The spiral staircase had a loose step on in it. There was no way to adjust the fans in the living room, they were either on high-speed or off. There were two charcoal grills when we arrived neither of which were serviceable - rusted out and falling apart. The outside trash can had a broken wheel, no handle and was sticky and disgusting. Wolverton doesn't supply any personal products like toilet paper or soap which is odd and barely enough towels. If I was the owner of this house I would fire Wolverton immediately as it is evident that they don't spend any time maintaining this home. I will never again stay at a house managed by this group.

My family and I stayed at Jamaica cove camp and loved the home. The staff at Wolverton was great and very helpful with anything we asked. The home was large and had plenty of room for all my family. I would highly recommend this home to rent.

My husband and I rented a beach house for our anniversary and it was by far the very worst vacation house we have ever rented and will never go through Wolverton realty again!! The dishes were dirty hair everywhere just all together disgusting.. went into office to complain and see if we could switch houses that wasn't happening all they would do was send the cleaners over again all they did was bring fresh sheets and spray some smell good. They took all the towels and didn't I leave anymore.The house was lime inn!

Be aware of this company. I reserved a vacation home in Galveston a month in advance. The day of our stay they informed me though an email that they moved us to smaller house cause the house we had reserved was not available anymore. We lost a bedroom and bath and other perks that the one we had reserved had on the day we arrived. Wolverton was very rude and didn't care that they had failed us. There words where if you don't like it go some where else. Really after you had taken my money. They Owner would not speak to us. Save yourself a headache and look somewhere else.
