Try a class with Andrea!  She is the most engaging, fun, and genuinely "warm" instructor I've had in years.   I live  in Pennsylvania and visit family on the Cape frequently.  Whenever I come, I try to workout at Women's Workout Company (my sister and sister-in-law are both long-time members). I was so impressed with Andrea's "Hip Hop Cardio Class."  I must admit I was apprehensive to try it beforehand as I am not the most coordinated person. Andrea  gave super instruction throughout and told me before class to "have fun with it."  When we slowed down and worked on isolating muscle groups, she talked a lot about working from "the core" and made sure to describe proper form for isolation and the best stretching possible.  I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed Andrea's class - and yes -  it was a well choreographed workout.  I left sweaty but happy. I can't wait to return to The Cape to take another one of her Classes. I think she also teaches a Strong Woman Class and a Zumba Class.

I have been a member at this gym for almost a year.  I just renewed my membership for another year.  The staff is wonderful, it is affordable and by far the best gym I have experienced (on Cape Cod and beyond).  I get greeted every visit by pleasant and professional people that are knowledgeable and helpful.  The classes are varied and the equipment updated.  There are Specialty Classes available along with Boxing/Small Group/Team training and Personal Trainers.  What more can you ask for??  Nutrition?  Weight loss?  Incentives?  It's ALL there.  It is a great place with a nice atmosphere and very non-judgmental and a FUN place to work out.  In the year that I have been there I have seen constant improvements and great incentives for members.  Ownership, Management and Staff (Training) seem to be the right mix to make things work there.  I had our son in the kid's room there and I really like the childcare staff.  My 5 year old never had a negative thing to say about going there.  I was always comfortable leaving him (Kudos to the Kid's Room Staff!) and felt that the monthly add-on price for childcare was fair.  They partake in some "old-school" customer service - (snail) mailing thank you cards and incentives.  The staff appears to like what they do, have a PASSION for their career field, take the extra step to keep their customers happy...and I truly look forward to another year!

I would NEVER recommend this gym to anyone and unfortunately this is based solely on the owner's own unprofessionalism. When I originally joined in January I only did so because I was told I would be able to cancel the 12 month membership if I was to move away. I signed up with one of the staff who was very pleasant and professional.

Actually working out there was good - the machines are nice and the classes are fun. The locker room is certainly lacking - I would never shower or change there. They need to update the locker rooms ASAP. 

Back to my poor rating - I was excepted to medical school and went in to cancel my membership as I was told I could do since I was moving away. The owner was VERY rude, accused me of not reading my contract, and basically told me to shut up when I was trying to ask questions to further understand the process of canceling my membership. I was able to cancel it but only after paying a $50 fee (which the staff person who signed me up stated I would not have to pay if I had proof of moving) and being spoken to in a very belittling manner.

I would understand if I was being treated this way by a staff member but the club's actual OWNER?! Bad for business. I was appalled. I will never recommend this gym to any woman. The equipment and classes aren't good enough to deal with the rudeness from the staff!!! There are better places on the Cape - FITNESS 500!

Working out at this gym is always a great experience for me! I enjoy taking all of the group training classes and boxing. I have never had a negative experience at this gym. Everyone is very helpful with everything and I have lost a lot of weight! No club on the Cape offers for woman what the WWC does !!
