the doctors are great here, the girls at the front desk always have a attitude, they really need a attitude check or maybe they shouldnt be working with the public.

The doctors here rock, but it takes 1+ hour just to get in and then you wait in the room. Everytime I call I'm placed on a "brief hold" that lasts 10+ minutes and when someone picks up there always snobby.

You make an appointment and sit in the waiting room or exam room for over an hour, what's the purpose of an appointment when you still have to wait almost 2 hours to be seen by your doctor? Ridiculous. If it wasn't such a hassle to switch mid-pregnancy, I would never come back here again.

This practice has C- people skills... let's go over the grievances; I've been a patient there for many years and am finally just completely fed up with always being put on hold every. single. time I call. Even now as I attempt to get the medical release faxed to me it's taking days and repeated phone calls, on hold way too long each time, repeating the same fax number over and over, etc. Often they leave me on hold for over 15 minutes, at which point they appear to have forgotten I'm on the line--why else when I hang up and call back would they immediately answer asking, "please hold," and when I say, "please no, I just hang up after being on hold over 15 mins," would they suddenly have the time to talk to me? I have witnessed in the waiting room a woman who was clearly in her 3rd trimester waiting for her appointment when they had already run an hour past her appointment--she and I were the only ones in the waiting room, it was in the early afternoon on a weekday. She told me that she had driven about 45 mins and took leave from work for this appointment, she was given zero notice from the practice that they were running behind on schedule, and the front desk clearly couldn't care less. In fact, they appeared rather immature and annoyed that she was unhappy. As this lady was telling me about her frustration, she kept calm and polite, yet the ladies behind the desk rather blatantly rolled their eyes and had hushed conversations amongst themselves (presumably about this woman's gripe). One year as I attempted to set an appointment for my annual exam, they gave me the run around for weeks with "I'm sorry, could we reschedule you? yada-yada has come up" and "oh, our office will be moving locations, can you call this number on 'x date'?" *I call on that date around 1pm* "Our offices are currently closed" etc etc. What a disorganized, careless mess. Now for the doctors--I saw Dr. Kaplan, and I feel that she is a good doctor, but like the front desk ladies, she sometimes appears to be "over it" if you have anything to discuss outside of the systematic annual exam. I could totally believe that she is simply just trying to keep in time with her scheduled appointments, though, and I really don't want to judge her harshly; she was a good doctor and I appreciated her way of discussing my health. Altogether if they just got rid of all the immature rudegirls running the front desk, they'd be up to a solid B, but for now I'd say take your business elsewhere.
