My favorite Chinese food in the entire state. This little mom and pop shop has amazing food. Cooked to order, fast service and the husband and wife that run the place are wonderful people and members of the SSP community. Support people, they more than deserve it.Food: 5/5
Not greatly impressed. Food was okay but did not live up to the "best in town" statements that I heard. Egg fu young spelling? Was different than I'd ever had it before. Not bad but not what I traditionally would have expected.Food: 3/5
My family loves Wongs Kitchen!! We go here very often! Amazing food and service! We got chicken lo mein, pork fried rice, chicken chow mein and cream cheese wontons. Would highly recommend!
Very Long wait times. Ordered oyster chicken. She told me all entrees come with steamed rice when I get home no steamed rice. Overrated and overpriced should have went across the street
Wong's has good food at very reasonable prices. I feel as a take out restaurant it's among the very best of them. I generally get the cashew chicken, the spice level isn't that hot even though it seems like it is in the description.
I arrived at about 6:10 p.m., and I guess they close at 7:00 p.m. there was probably four or five people already waiting for their food, this is takeout only so there is no place to sit down. They were already out of a lot of items, but they had what I originally came there for, chicken subgum chow mein, egg rolls and an order of cream cheese puffs. Took 40 minutes to get that. My feet, my ankles, my knees, oh my goodness they hurt from just standing almost literally in the same spot for 40 minutes. When I got home, everything was barely lukewarm. The chicken sub had a texture of, what I could only imagine glue or better yet paste would feel like in your mouth. The flavor was decent enough, but again 40 minutes I would have thought they were making my order from scratch not sitting on the shelf for over a half hour. The woman that took my order, she was so very nice and so very polite. I don't think my visit there represented this particular restaurant accurately due to the time I had arrived. Maybe next time I'll try them closer to opening time as opposed to closing time. But I will give them another try. Features: They have signs both on the door as you enter as well as in the restaurant studying masks are required, yet out of approximately 10 people throughout the whole time I was there, I did not see a single person wearing a mask.
Wonderful food and great service. We have enjoyed this restaurant for years. Family owned, it's some of the best Chinese cuisine in the city. I recommend anything on the menu. The chow mein is excellent.
This is close to my house. Love this place and it's a little neighborhood gem. They remember you and make great food. FYI they can't run cards and answer the phone but that is part of the charm. The menu is larger than what is shown on the board.
Two words: Worth it. The best food I ever eaten, would definitely recommend General Tao’s Chicken
Rice was steamed perfectly, chicken subgum was thick and rich, and I LOVE that you can customize the spiciness of their dishes! My kiddo had a tiny bit of spice in their orange chicken, and it was perfect. The fried rice was just like I remember as a kid, from our local place. I can't wait to go back and try their egg foo young!
