After several disappointing experiences looking at woodstove places in the local (Milwaukee) area, I drove an hour to the Wood Heat Center on the recommendation of a friend. They were very helpful, friendly and informative. Then they drove all the way out to my house in Sussex to measure and give me advice. This was BEFORE I bought the stove. The prices were better too! We bought a stove and installed it ourselves (first time!), but they provided all the advice to get it done quickly and properly. Jim and Brenda are what all proprietors should be and few are. I would highly recommend them to anyone and have on many occasions.
