Woodburn automotive must have employees as dummy writers for thier reviews because my most recent experience with them was awful. My wife took our 2003 Volkswagen Passat in for a water leak that we suspected might have been from a previous repair at Woodburn Automotive center. They looked at it for 15 minutes and stated it wasn't due to the previous repair (I still have my doubts as I learned later this place is a bait and switch operation). So they quote my wife 287.00 to repair a "water pipe" and they don't have one in stock, so they'll have to order it. Nice technical lingo there sounds kinda like "camouflage paint" or "muffler bearings". The actual name of the part is a cooling hose flange. A few hours later we call to find out the verdict, they say tomorrow it should be ready as it took time to get the part and replace it. No worries we have time and don't need a loaner car so we just wait. Next day comes my wife calls and asks if it will be ready by 5pm? And the person on the phone says "yea if things don't keep breaking" me and my wife arrive and my wife goes in and asks what the damage is (literally in this case). The price has gone up a little, like double 571.00 now. He goes on to explain that there are pieces that broke that needed replacing and it took a lot of extra work because of that and the cost of the pieces as well cause they couldn't replace just the vacuum check valve (5 bucks at autozone) they needed to buy the breather hose for the PCV as well (35.00 dollar part marked up to 129.50). So I go home and examine all the (brittle parts) "that just broke?" And realize every single last one of them looks mangled. I research the repair online and realize that several of the (broken parts) didn't even need replacing!! And some of the ones that did weren't even on the correct side of the engine for this repair! (Should have just done it myself and saved the money and headache!). They were both air related pieces having nothing to do with the water system. They lied and said they had to remove the "plenum" (what the hell is that the plastic part on the top that pops right off?) I assume he meant the correct terminology "air intake manifold". Even so if you do this repair slowly and carfuly you won't break a lot of extra parts in the process. Two things now that really got me, one they broke the dipstick holder which easily pulls right out(and should have been before the repair started ). Two they couldn't even figure out how to open a VW Radiator hose clamp (ASE certified mechanics my a$$). Also when we went to check the repairs under the hood we realized the hood strut was busted. It worked fine before but after they were "so gentle and careful" they busted a hood strut? HTF do you even do that? So I ask if they can make it right? I confront them on their shoddy work and extra labor charges for the things (they broke) and the guy lies about everything. He lied to my wife earlier about the inability to get a Frickin 5 dollar part from autozone! (that they probably have 100 in stock of) and charged us 129.50 for a hose! They still haven't made It right, but that's ok I protested in front of their business today and I'll do It again. I've also filed a complaint with the BBB. I may never see a dime of my money back but I love seeing these guys lose money from potential customers. Avoid like the plague, don't go here unless you like being ripped off or have money to burn.

I've had my car looked at and fixed multiple times for my car and always leave happy! Prices are very reasonable and they get their work done quick. We had to have a loaner car once but that was provided at no charge to us! Ruben is very friendly and even gave me a few tips to keep my car in good condition.

Great experience! We broke down traveling. They got us in right away, set us up with a loaner, and even made arrangements for us to get our trailer where we needed to be. We were back on the road the following day. Super nice, honest people.

Have had my car fixed here a couple times (not major repairs) they have given me honest quotes, and work is done same day. I have found the 1st shop that I trust and would recommend to friends and family. They have earned my business. They have a customer for life.
