I have brought alot of scrap gold jewelry and old vintage toys ect... to the wooden nickel.  The owner is VERY fair on pricing. I've compared his prices  to his competitors and this place topped first place over his competitors.  I recommend to everyone, The Wooden Nickel is the BEST PLACE AROUND.

Haven't had a chance to go int the shop but had called the place and the guy seemed very upfront.  He told me what he wants to buy and made suggestions such as Ebay for items he wasn't buying unlike other dealers who are like used car salesman.  After going to Mac's Coins for years and being dissappointed by the new guy (Dallas), I will visit this place for my coin collecting supplies.  Hope, the guy is a good to work with in person as on the phone.
