Roach motel. Don't trust the manager. Like others have said, she acts cool until she gets your money. She'll tell you whatever stories you want to hear, but after you've signed the lease and paid, she'll conveniently forget all the things she said and begin accusing you for all the issues that never got fixed.

Don't waste your time or money! First impression with Cindy was that she is sweet, nice & responded very quickly. We were moving from out of town & traveled (2 hrs away). We had to travel back & forth every time we needed to meet with Cindy, which was no problem in the beginning. The renovated apt was viewed with all hard wood floors, new counters, appliances & new paint. We were told it would be ready around the time for move in.We were contacted to make sure we were still coming to do the application the next Friday after to hold the apt.We were told the original apt would not be ready & the apt above it would be ready to move in at that time.I asked was it newly renovated, she said yes.We came down to do the application with Cindy, paid for the deposit/fees = about $660. After looking through the apt. they were still doing renovations, which was excellent, but was no completely done.We had an issue with the carpet in the apt, it was filthy. It was two different colors brown, bleach stains, iron stains & marks of drink in ALL THREE BEDROOMS.We asked, now this apt was renovated? She then says, yes a year ago.The carpet needed to be completed gutted. We asked was it being replaced or cleaned? She assured us it would be clean when we come back next week to sign the lease,if approved. We trusted that it would be because we had no issues with Cindy. We arrive, she gives us the key to view the apt ourselves for a walk thru,Most apts go with you, so it was a little suspect. We discover the carpet is still in the SAME condition,it looked like someone tried to vacuum, but it didn't help with filthy carpet. The walls had been painted & the hard wood in the hall, dining & living room was nice. Our issues were, there were no screens on the window & that is dangerous for kids.A lock was broken off of 1 of the windows,so it could be pulled right up. 1 of the tubs/sink was stopped up,a dead water bug in the sink, missing stopper in one of the sinks,a light was out in the closet,& knobs were missing on drawers in the bathroom.I went back to the office & explained to cindy, "we have some concerns. We expressed to you how the carpet had to be replaced or cleaned before we moved in." We thought, If someone pays you all this money to hold an apt (Not including the rent yet), Stand on your word. She said she thought it was clean, they were suppose to clean it & didn't let her know why it wasn't cleaned. She asked to come back Wednesday & she'll have everything done.I explained it was suppose to already be done & reminded her,we live 2 hrs away we can not keep coming back, taking off work & coming back & forth for something that should've been complete. We agreed on the next Friday again to come back & view it.After leaving,we were very upset & disappointed because we had certain days to move out of our apt & had plans in the city that weekend. All plans had to be cancelled & had to drive right back.We sent an emailed explaining how disappointed we were in the apt now being ready when she said it would be,how it ruined all of our plans, we feel disrespected & the money given was for that reason. She responded as a different person, not the helpful, sweet nice lady we met prior to.She said she didn't disrespect us & she's apologized for what happened (which she did),she feels like even if those things are fixed,we will not be happy & will cancel the contract & contact the mgr to get us a refund. We advised,we just the carpet clean & the things fixed but still wanted the apt.As a mgr that was her job to go behind them to make sure all of that was complete. We asked for new carpet, clean carpet or some type of compensation, $20 off of the rent, gas money or something for the inconvenience. She said NO and had no intentions cleaning the carpet or fixing the other issues because she showed it to us that way. If we would've signed the lease, she surely wouldn've fixed it afterwards. They cancelled the contract & sent $600. She is not what she seems. It was a headache, a waste of gas & time.

I personally think they are nice apts. I saw lots of wholesome family activity. Plus the landscaping and overall cleanliness and amenities have improved nicely in the last couple yrs.

Worst place I've ever lived. The pictures don't tell the whole story. Pool is rarely open. Apartments are poorly insulated, so utilities are high, maintenance guys let themselves in your apartment with no notice a few times each month, always claiming that they need to check into something. Caught one taking pictures of my personal items once, another was going through the kitchen drawers. Rent went up before my lease was even halfway through, meth-head manager with the Walter White SUV claiming that she billed me wrong. She says pay the back rent or go to court for eviction.
