When I called for a family member's passing, Linda was very helpful even though she was going through a tough time with her mom in the hospital. She helped me find a plot within days of his passing. And even though our appointments were being postponed, she was able to talk with the funeral directors to confirm we were going to have service on a Sunday and 24 hours before service we were able to sit down, choose the plot, pay and sign the documents. Thank you for all your help
I went to Woodlawn Memorial Park to visit my parents and sister's graves on Saturday and noticed a car parked at the office. I drove to the office, knocked on the door not expecting an answer but, a sweet gracious lady DID answer the door. I was in search of my aunt's unmarked grave. She was so busy but took the time to look up the details, provided me with a map and left a message for the maintenance people to help locate the unmarked grave of my aunt for me. She also found a Family member buried there that my family was not aware of so now our research can continue for more relatives in Tennessee and Alabama. This was the first time I was handed an actual map and plot # of where my aunt was laid to rest. While I do not remember her name, I will always be grateful for her help, patience and kindness. Thank You Woodlawn for employing such a sweet and kind lady.
The grass is not cut. Many of my family member graves are missing the flower canisters that come with their headstones. Can’t find graves that done have markers yet.. very upset about this
The grave plots need to be paid more attention to. Some have sunken down on one side or the other. Fire ants were in areas all around.
