Everything started out positive and polite.  A tenant of mine passed away and they would not respect his wishes. I had sent him a notarized letter of his wishes. They would not honor the deceased last wishes.  They would not variety the death of the deceased to the insurance company so they cold start the claims process. I called him on the phone to ask why they would not various death since I paid for the funeral upfront and had worked out a amount since the deceased did not have very much coverage, but I promised him he would not be cremated. He tried to convince me to do that, but I had given my word to my friend that he would not be cremated. He was extremely rude on the phone when I tried to get him to speak to the insurance company on the other line. He did not have tI'm to talk to them.I told him that was bad business and he told me to call back tomorrow after 9 and hung up the phone. I would not recommend someone of this nature to anyone. All he' really interested in is the money and once he gets it, he's done with you. No interest on all of helping you get your funds re-embursed. Very Bad Experience. Go somewhere else with your loved one.

We  lost a family member who had unfortunately prepaid for their funeral at this horrible place. Instead of treating grieving family members with kindness, JIm Sosebee was extremely rude and had no compassion AT ALL. He even put the wrong date on the death certificate but that's OUR problem not his. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you want to be treated like crap by the a**hole  owner.This has got to be the most unprofessional ,uncaring funeral home around.

Jim Sosebee was wonderful to my mom and my son and I when he took care of my dad. They treated my dad with respect and helped to honor him. The Iva Chapel is beautiful. 
Thank you for all y'all did for us during this difficult time.

Jim Sosebee and his staff were wonderful to us during the death of my husband.. They were very caring and compassionate and treated my husband with respect. Their chapel in Iva is amazing and a beautiful place for a service!

Robert and his family did an incredible job listening to my brother's wishes after the death of his wife.  Robert is extremely professional and took care of every detail quickly and efficiently.  He was so easy to talk to and communicated everything to the family, and was always available to the family for any question or need.  We could not have been happier.  We highly recommend Robert and his family of Sosebee as a top-notch business.
