Everyone at this office is super nice and friendly, and Dr. Isaacs knows what he is doing. I've been here for some cleanings and also got a gum graft procedure done here. Everything with the gum graft went perfectly and it has healed nicely. It's a small office so it's easy to get on a first-name basis with everyone. Good people!

Honest, Professional, Economical. Highly recommend if you are looking for a dentist or periodontist in The Valley. I drive from Brentwood to see him. If he was in Santa Monica or Beverly Hills he would cost you 2-3x as much. This guy is so good and you feel so safe in his care.

Dr Issac is best periodontist I have had so far. As a patient with highly aggressive gum disease I need constant deep cleaning and scalings to keep my dental heath up to scratch. As such I have spent a considerable amount of time searching for periodontist who can combine speed and precision. The search is over. Lets face it no one wants to sit in the dentist chair all day. However, often you pay the price for a speedy cleaning with immense pain upon leaving. This is not the case with woodman dental care. Dr, Issac is a warm steady handed practitioner who takes a genuine interest in his patients. I look forward to many more bright teeth and healthy gums looking into the future. For those who tend to only read the first few sentences of a review, I'll get straight to the point.  Dr. David Isaacs at Woodman Dental is among the best dentists I've encountered, and I've seen half a dozen dentists over the past 10 years.  He is my top choice.  I'll bullet point my reasons WHY: 

SKILL LEVEL: Dr. Isaacs is a brilliant dentist, likely stemming from the tenacious commitment he applies to the precision and correctness of his work, much like a honey badger in pursuit of his next meal. And because of the precise nature with which he works, it's not as if you'll spend more time in the chair than you would at any other dental office, in fact it will likely be less.  I must also add that this dentist is PAINLESS.  I've had six visits in the past two years for significant dental work, and from start to finish it was what I call "stingless" on each occasion.

CARE:  As much as I'd like to believe that all dentists care about their patients as much as patients care about the pain in their mouth, I feel, based on my own experience, that not all dentists do.  X-rays of my teeth resemble a screenshot of a cell phone gaming app, so I've come to know both the value of good dentistry and the discomforts that accompany having mediocre dentistry performed on my chops, which until recently included an impacted, partially performed root canal performed by a previous dentist and loose fillings or broken crowns.  The care and attention I receive at Woodman Dental is unmatched, so I can proceed with confidence in my pursuit of getting my teeth into the kind of shape they need to be in.

STAFF:  It is blatantly obvious to me that Dr. Isaacs has matched his own skill level and expertise with that of the staff he chose to make up his team.  Each is beyond exceptional, and are as much fun and friendly as they are professional and effective.

AFFORDABLE?  Yes.  I don't think any dentistry is cheap, but even under an average dental plan or insurance I believe the costs here are at least comparable to the industry and area.  But the main factor that reinforces my suggestion to have your dental needs met here is the fact that, at the very least, you're going to receive a noticeably higher quality of dentistry, and likely for around the same price you'd pay elsewhere.

Because of the reasons I've noted in this review, I actually enjoy my visits here.  I'll add that I rarely leave public reviews because of my still growing public persona, but when it is warranted or important, I do so.  In this case, I felt it was an important one to share.

I've been seeing Dr. Issac for the past 6 years and every visit gets better than the last. Aside from his great staff, who are always warm welcoming and friendly, Dr. Issac continues to enlighten me with the do's and dont's of dental care. From deep tissue cleanings to fixing chipped teeth, Dr. Issac explains in great detail on hows and whys. I've recommended friends in the past and will continue to do so. I've never been more cautious and concerned for maintaining a healthy smile than I do now. Taking Dr. Issac's advice had lead me down a positive and more confident path in life and I can guarantee, he can do the same for you!
