This food is SO GOOD. The hardest part is picking what you're going to get because it is all amazing. I also hate how they always seem to run out of things. I'd love to eat there once without the brussel sprouts or collard greens being gone. 

You can take it to go or eat on the patio which is fun and laid back. Everyone there is really nice too and the prices are pretty good for the amount of food you get.

Also the cornbread is like dessert. It's so. Freaking. Good.

Great little BBQ joint that does things right! The brioche brisket sandwich hits the spot and the owners did an amazing job rehabbing the space. The commitment to doing things right shines through. Independents like Woodpile that place value on quality are truly refreshing.

My roommates and I went there for the first time last week. We ordered some type of family meal combo with two different meats, two sides and four pieces of cornbread for three of us. That meal filled up three men, and we had leftovers. The ribs were fantastic, meat falls right off the bone. Smoked chicken is phenomenal, pepper jack mac and cheese was perfect and the cornbread was probably the best I have had in a very long time. My roommates and I would recommend this place to absolutely anyone.

The meats are pretty good the sides are very rich. For the price i expected a lot more. Granted, i got take out so i really can not evaluate the service and who knows, maybe that is what makes up for all that extra cost. It is a pretty building ....and they do need to pay for all that.

Food was fantastic, great price for what you get.  Service was a little off since you basically seat yourself and whoever brings your food has to hunt you down via a little order number you take to your table.  Limited beer selection in a cooler by the order area.  Great patio area, and some outside picnic tables if you want to sit in the sun.  The lazy guy in me wishes someone would bring me drinks instead of having to go get them. haha.  Six kinds of Sauce all delicious.  Overall a great spot for BBQ.
