Great library. I go almost every day and read Physics books. Pretty quiet for the most part. Occasionally some people talk too loud. On a couple of occasions I had to get the security guard to get some people to quiet down.

Agree that the current security guard is certainly a tad bothersome. Unnecessarily aggressive. But we barely see him. The children's librarians, Chris and Beth, are wonderful. They're knowledgeable and always helpful. I wish there were more programs for kids but I understand. The toys in the children's room are appropriate and engaging. The displays change regularly and I find great books from them. The children's area is usually orderly and it's an inviting space for kids and babies. The adult section is quiet as well. Anything off-putting about this library is not the fault of the library or its employees. :) It's a bit old school but we don't have enough of that left so I won't complain. I'm grateful for the library.

The security guard is blatantly racist. But otherwise his library so great. I've seen the security guard on multiple occasions.

Always find what I need . From books to faxing or using the computer to getting things notarized . Workers are always there to help with whatever you need .
